Do you accept unsolicited manuscript submissions?
No.
PG Productions does not accept unsolicited manuscript submissions.
Before any manuscript is shared, we first establish a professional working relationship and confirm project scope. Submission instructions are provided only after publishing services have been discussed and agreed upon.
This protects both the author and PG Productions and ensures manuscripts are reviewed within the proper context.
How much do I earn in royalties?
Authors receive:
100% of net royalties on the first 1,000 total copies sold (across all formats).
After 1,000 total copies, PG Productions receives 3% of net royalties, with the author retaining 97%.
Royalties are paid directly to the author by the publishing platform according to that platform’s reporting and payment schedule.
What does “net royalties” mean?
Net royalties are the amount paid to you by the publishing platform after:
Printing costs (for physical books)
Retailer fees
Platform commissions
PG Productions does not collect or hold royalty payments.

How long does publishing take?
Typical timelines after final manuscript submission:
eBook: 5–10 business days
Paperback: 7–14 business days
Hardcover: 10–21 business days
Platform review times may vary.
What if there is a formatting mistake?
If a formatting error originates during preparation, PG Productions will correct and resubmit the file.
Minor corrections are typically straightforward. Substantial revisions (new chapters, major content edits, structural changes) may require a separate update fee.
What is the difference between a free ISBN and a non-free ISBN?
Free ISBN (Platform-Issued)
When using a free ISBN from a platform:
The platform is typically listed as the publisher of record.
That edition may be tied to that specific platform.
Changing distribution later may require a new ISBN.
Publishing identity may vary between formats.
Free ISBNs are convenient but usually platform-branded.
Non-Free ISBN (Independent ISBN)
A non-free ISBN is independently issued and not tied to a single platform.
With an independent ISBN:
Publisher identity remains consistent.
Metadata stays unified across formats.
Distribution flexibility is preserved.
The book is not structurally tied to one ecosystem.
PG Productions provides non-free ISBNs for editions published through our services to support long-term flexibility and consistent publishing identity.
Why does the ISBN choice matter?
Why does the ISBN choice matter?
For authors publishing a single book with no plans for expansion, a free ISBN may be sufficient.
For authors building a catalog or long-term publishing presence, independent ISBN publishing supports structural consistency and control across formats and platforms.
Do you provide editing or illustration?
Standard publishing services include formatting and publication setup only.
Editing and illustration services are not included unless separately arranged.
Authors are encouraged to complete editing before submission.
Who owns the copyright?
You do.
Authors retain full intellectual property rights to their work.
PG Productions does not claim ownership of manuscripts.
Do you guarantee sales?
No.
Sales performance depends on pricing, genre, marketing, audience reach, and timing. PG Productions does not guarantee sales volume or revenue.
Can the 3% royalty participation be cancelled?
Yes.
After the 1,000-copy threshold has been reached, either party may cancel royalty participation with 90 days written notice.
