Royalties Terms and Conditions

PG Productions

These Royalty Terms & Conditions outline the participation structure between PG Productions (“Publisher”) and the Author for titles published under PG Productions services.

By engaging publishing services, the Author agrees to the following terms.

1. Ownership of Work

The Author retains full ownership of all intellectual property rights to their manuscript and published work.

PG Productions does not claim ownership of the manuscript, copyright, or derivative rights.

2. Royalty Structure

2.1 Initial Royalty Period

The Author receives 100% of net royalties on the first 1,000 total copies sold of the title.

The 1,000-copy threshold is calculated based on total cumulative sales across all formats of the title, including but not limited to:

  • eBook

  • Paperback

  • Hardcover

2.2 Post-Threshold Participation

After 1,000 total copies have been sold, PG Productions shall receive 3% of net royalties, with the Author retaining 97%.

This 3% royalty participation applies to all subsequent sales following the threshold.

3. Definition of Net Royalties

“Net royalties” refers to the amount paid to the Author by the publishing or distribution platform after:

  • Printing costs (for physical editions)

  • Platform fees

  • Retailer commissions

PG Productions does not collect royalties directly unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Payment & Reporting

  • All royalty payments are made directly to the Author by the publishing or distribution platform.

  • Sales counts are determined using official platform reporting dashboards.

  • Royalty calculations are based solely on platform-reported data.

PG Productions does not modify, delay, or process royalty payments.

5. Term & Termination

The 3% royalty participation continues indefinitely after the 1,000-copy threshold has been reached.

Either party may terminate the royalty participation agreement with 90 days written notice.

Termination does not retroactively alter royalties already earned or paid.

6. Scope of Services

PG Productions provides formatting, publication setup, ISBN issuance, and distribution configuration services as outlined in the Services agreement.

PG Productions does not guarantee sales volume, revenue level, market performance, or retailer placement.

7. Author Responsibilities

The Author is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate manuscript content

  • Maintaining access to publishing platform accounts

  • Ensuring compliance with platform terms of service

  • Monitoring sales reports

8. Amendments

These Royalty Terms & Conditions may be updated or modified by written agreement between PG Productions and the Author.

9. Governing Understanding

These terms are intended to clarify the royalty participation structure and publishing relationship. Additional service agreements may apply where executed separately.
